RezTown - Getting Started

Before you can become a member of RezTown, make sure to sign up with Second Life. Second Life is a free online platform where the game RezTown resides.

Once you're familiar with Second Life, visit our RezTown Community Center to pick up your HUD.  The RezTown HUD will show you your needs at all times.  If your needs drop too low, you'll need to green up so you can continue to use the job objects within RezTown.  Greening up can be done by using our greening objects (bed, shower, toilet, fridge, and more).  If you don't have the land or enough tokens to purchase your own greening objects, simply visit our community center or visit one of the properties made available by other RezTown members.  Browse our online community to find all available properties.

The virtual currency used in RezTown is called Rez Tokens.  The easiest way to earn Rez Tokens is by using our job objects.  Some of our job objects are single player, while others are multi-player.  RezTown job objects can be found on properties of our members which are published here on our site.  By making these job objects available to others, you're able to earn a pretty nice commission (based on the use of your objects) twice a day.  While using our job objects, you'll also earn XP (experience points).  The more experience points you gain, the higher your status will be within our online community.

Once you're signed up, make sure to log into your account here at RezTown.com where you can track your earnings at any time.  We've also partnered up with ProfileSLive.com where you can create an online profile.  Your online profile will allow you hang out with other RezTown members, and will also give you the perfect opportunity to talk about your property in Second Life.  Need some privacy?  Simply turn on our privacy feature which will discontinue showing your property as available to others.  Needless to say, although we allow you to show first life information on your online profile, you certainly have the option to only show second life information.
